We are so thrilled to announce our Family Gathering in Tuscany this October, co-hosted by the incomparable Emiko Davies. We invited Emiko and her daughters to our Gathering on Andros Island in the Greek Cyclades in the Autumn of 2019. Ever since we’ve been dreaming of doing something together in her adopted backyard of Tuscany.

Emiko is an Australian-born cookbook author and one of the sweetest people we have ever met. Together with her husband Marco, an accomplished sommelier, and their daughters Mariu and Luna, expert gelato tasters, they are the absolute perfect crew to help guide us around one of the best places to eat and drink in the world.

We’ll spend six days together meeting some of the region’s most thoughtful producers, exploring the charming villages and meeting the fascinating people who give this storied part of Italy its character. We will stay together in a restored farmhouse, with heated saltwater pool and 360 degree views of the rolling Tuscan hills.

Of all the kinds of experiences our family has had in the last three years of full-time travel, these Family Gatherings are our absolute favourite. After a year when most of the world was shut inside, staring through the glass and waiting, our hearts are so ready to gather together again, and to share this experience with other curious, open-hearted families.
