dinner and conversation

One of the last meals we had before departing Seattle five years ago was served by our friend Stephanie, on a picnic table outside her cabin on Lummi Island in the storied San Juans. We still remember the dark rosy flakes of salmon, the emerald carrot top pesto, the smell of the sea and cedar… Then we left for our grand voyage, five years of travel and Gatherings all over the world, and Stephanie started Ebb and Co, with a cafe, a wine club and Seattle’s most delicious dining events.

This last August we met Stephanie and her family in France for a road trip through Brittany. We were overjoyed to see dear friends, and to have someone else in charge of where to eat for a change! We spent our days on boats and bicycles, chasing down obscure oyster farmers, drinking litres of cider from striped jugs and taking frigid sea swims under cloudy skies. It was magical.

We invite you to join us for a dinner inspired by this shared moment in Brittany, and in celebration of what we love most: good food and drink, fresh adventures, and family and friends to share it all with. Wherever you sail may you find friendly ports.

We love strange ideas, the ones everyone thinks are nuts. Some of our closest friends had a strange idea to build a big, beautiful building, and live in it together with their friends. Shared Roof is an absolutely innovative project in the heart of Greenwood, and the perfect friendly harbour to host Port Frère.

Ticket price includes a welcome beverage, food & gratuity. Bottles of wine & cider TO ENJOY will be available to purchase. Tickets are non refundable. If you are unable to attend, you can transfer the tickets to someone else. In the event there is a wait list and we are able to fill your seat, we will gladly issue a refund.
